After the allotted time or mileage equivalent preforming the Car Service suggestions will significantly reduce the chances of serious problems and increase the lifespan and value of your Toyota Car or Toyota Truck
Basic Minor Service - 5K, 10K, 20K, 25K
Performed every 5,000 miles or 6 months—whichever comes first
- Replace engine oil
- Replace engine oil filter
- Drain plug washer
- Check & top fluids (as needed)
- Inspect brake linings/drums & brake pads/discs
- Rotate best tires to front
- Clean brakes
- Perform multi-point inspection
- Road test vehicle (as needed)
Basic Intermediate Service - 15K, 45K, 75K
Performed every 15,000 miles or 18 months—whichever comes first
- Replace engine oil
- Replace engine oil filter
- Drain plug washer
- Inspect ball joints & dust covers
- Inspect brake lines and hoses
- Inspect brake linings/drums & brake pads/discs
- Rotate best tires to front
- Inspect drive shaft boots and steering gear box
- Replace engine air filter
- Inspect steering and linkage boots
- Inspect nuts and bolts on chassis
- Clean brakes
- Perform multi-point inspection
- Road test vehicle (as needed)
Basic Major Service - 30K, 60K, 90K
Performed every 30,000 miles or 36 months—whichever comes first
- Replace engine oil and oil filter
- Replace air filter
- Rotate tires
- Replace cabin air filter
- Inspect the following
- Ball joint and dust covers
- Brake lines and hoses
- Brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
- Differential oil
- Drive shaft boots
- Engine coolant
- Exhaust pipes and mountings
- Fuel lines and connections, fuel tank band and fuel tank vapor vent system hoses
- Fuel tank cap gasket
- Radiator core and condenser
- Steering gear box
- Steering linkage and boots
- Transmission fluid or oil
- Perform vehicle inspection/reset maintenance lamp
- Install battery service kit
- Clean & adjust brakes/brake cleaner
- Top-off windshield washer solvent
