The Business Development Center includes a sales, service and parts department staff that is involved in business development techniques to generate new leads for possible sales. Business development involves evaluating a business and then realizing its full potential using such tools as marketing sales, information management and customer service.
The genesis of every business day begins with the essential information the BDC reps enter into our database for the daily process. Such information comes from contract cards and write ups provided by the sales staff. They also maintain and update the daily appointment board and write up board, which like a score sheet keeps a box score of the daily game. Throughout the day they keep things current data wise.
The Business Development Center representatives are a specialized, highly trained, team of skilled professionals who handle inbound sales and service calls, outbound marketing and follow up calls with a commitment to increase traffic while creating customer satisfaction.
The Business Development Center not only schedules appointment but performs other tasks that increase accountability for non-buyers, scheduled appointments that do not show, confirming scheduled appointments, orphan follow-ups, declined service business, end of warranty customers, service drive prospecting, schedule maintenance reminders (due and overdue), special order parts (notification and appointment calls) and after service follow up.
These tasks all happen in a timely, daily manner using performance grids and guidelines. Monitoring of these guidelines and procedural functions is managed to ensure all hourly and daily task are performed.
Processing of all daily tallies helps to ensure all necessary guidelines and quotas are met and future expectations can be realized.
Growth is certainly important and through new efforts of identifying, researching, analyzing, and bringing new products and ideas to market business development assists in growing the plan.
